A global standard
An independent Corporate Social Responsibility assessment agency, EcoVadis covers 190 purchasing categories. It operates in 155 countries and makes its assessments across 21 CSR indicators that include environment, fair labour practices, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
A 5-year run
Canon has just announced that, for the fifth consecutive year, it's been awarded the EcoVadis gold rating for sustainability performance - an honour granted only to the top 5% of those assessed.
Proof, if proof were needed, just how seriously the organisation takes its responsibility to both the wider environment and the communities in which it operates and serves. We're proud and thrilled by the announcement, and of our continued association with Canon.
